Linda Salvucci has worked in the addiction and behavioral-health fields for more than 40 years. Her professional background includes clinical practice, substance-use evaluation, addiction treatment, professional education, university teaching, and behavioral-health consultation.
Dr. Salvucci holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology and is a Licensed Independent Addiction Counselor (LIAC), Master Addiction Counselor (MAC), and DOT-qualified Substance Abuse Professional (SAP).
She has extensive experience working with substance-use disorders, addiction-related concerns, behavioral health, and professional evaluations.
As a DOT SAP, Dr. Salvucci approaches each employee individually. A DOT violation does not automatically mean that every employee has the same problem or requires the same intervention.
Her responsibility is to conduct an objective professional evaluation, make appropriate recommendations, evaluate successful compliance, and fulfill the federally required responsibilities of a DOT SAP.
